Erosion-control blankets and turf reinforcement mats work with vegetation to protect exposed soil and create more durable vegetated surfaces. Temporary and biodegradable blankets help reduce raindrop impact, slow surface runoff, retain moisture and hold seed and soil in place while vegetation develops. Permanent TRMs and high-performance mats reinforce roots and stems, allowing established vegetation to withstand greater hydraulic and environmental stresses.
