Three Hours. 225 Volunteers. One Living Parking Lot.
Bussen Meyer Engineering contacted R. H. Moore & Associates, Inc. about an expansion of the Georgianna United Methodist Church. The new expansion was requiring additional drive areas and parking stalls and they wanted to use a pervious system. Based on the frequency of traffic, R. H. Moore & Associates, Inc. recommended Drivable Grass. Drivable Grass is a permeable, flexible and plantable concrete pavement system. It is designed for use in areas where permeable, and/or a vegetated surface is desired for aesthetic or sustainable reasons. The Drivable Grass product was installed by 225 church members and volunteers within a three-hour timeframe. Drivable Grass is easy to install with no heavy equipment required, making it a very cost-effective solution.
